Green Nephrology was featured at the annual conference of the British Renal Society and the Renal Association this year. A dedicated session on Thursday afternoon invited the UK renal community to consider why climate change is relevant to them, and to learn about progress of the Green Nephrology initiative - including carbon footprinting of renal services, and case studies of best practice.

Green Nephrology local representatives attending the conference were also invited to a private reception beforehand, hosted by Dr Donal O'Donoghue and NHS Kidney Care.
Andy Connor, the Green Nephrology Fellow, also spoke on Green Nephrology at the Vifor Symposium on the Monday afternoon (17th May).
