As a means of sharing best practice, knowledge and building stronger networks, the UK-based Healthcare Waste and Resources Group, in conjunction with the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) will be hosting an International Symposium on September 24 and 25, 2009.
Enjoy many miles of traffic-free streets! This event is organised by the London Cycling Campaign. Last year, Freewheel closed 10 miles of central London to motor vehicles, encouraging 50,000 people to enjoy the traffic-free streets on their bicycles.
