Joining the network
Visitors are welcome to browse all the articles, events, resources and forum discussions which are generated by network members. If you wish to receive email notifications or to post into the network, you will need to register on the site and tick the box labelled "Join Green Nephrology" to request network membership. Please indicate your connection with / interest in Green Nephrology on the registration form. If you already have a user account on the CSH site, log in and navigate to the Green Nephrology network, where you can click on "Request membership" in the right hand column. Again, please indicate your connection with / interest in the topic on the membership request form.
Managing email notifications
As a network member, by default you will receive email notifications whenever there is a new post. However, you can manage your notifications by going to "My Account" (top right). You can edit your notifications to receive them only at daily or weekly intervals. You can also unsubscribe from individual forum threads if you find they are not relevant to you.
Posting articles, forum posts and other content
The content within the network is generated by the members. Once logged in, you can create a news article, blog, podcast, event, forum post or resource by following the links in the right hand column. You will be asked to choose which topic(s) your post relates to, to help other members search the site and manage their email subscriptions. Some of the postings within the network will also be chosen to appear on the main CSH site "News", "Blog", "Podcast" and "Events" pages.
Managing your profile and contacting other members
We hope that members will use this network to share ideas, experiences and resources, and to make contact with one another. To help in this, you can post some information about yourself and your experience of (sustainable) kidney care on your personal profile by going to "My Account" (top right). You can find out about and contact other members by clicking on their username wherever you see it on the site. You will need to be logged in to see their "Contact" tab where you can send them a personal message.
Questions
If you have any problems or suggestions, please contact us (the Network Administrators) and we will be glad to help if we can. Click on our names under "Network admins" in the right hand column and send a message as you would to any other member.Abuse
Please let us know as soon as possible if you come across any inappropriate postings on the network - send a message to the Network admins (as above) and please include a link to the page in question. Many thanks - we rely on members to help in this.
