Sustainability of mental health services - survey request

Wednesday, 11 December, 2013

The Royal College of Psychiatrists and the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare are joining up to try to improve the sustainability of mental health services across the UK. As a major component of this initiative we are asking all sustainability leads of mental health Trusts to complete a survey to find out about their sustainable practices. We are intending that this will be a useful tool for you as we will provide feedback and comparative data for you to know how your Trust compares against other Trusts. It will also be used to write a publication for the Health Services Journal. The results of this survey will be collated and sent back to NHS Trust SD leads as a powerpoint slide presentation for you to use. This questionnaire has 10 sections; these cover: • your details • governance • travel • workforce • facilities management • procurement and food • estates and buildings • adaptation • models of care • your views The information will guide future initiatives and minimise the impact of mental healthcare on the environment. You results will be kept anonymous.
