Michael has had a wide-ranging career in healthcare business development, communications and corporate affairs, immediately prior to joining GE he ran a consultancy specialising in corporate and business development. He also previously was head of UK Healthcare for Fleishman Hillard International, Managing Director of Good Relations Healthcare, a Director of a London NHS Trust and ran Campaigns & Marketing for a major UK Trade Union.
He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a full member of the Institute of Directors and an executive board member of the British American Project. He is a full member of the CIPR and helps run its Health and Medical Group. He is also a freeman of the Worshipful Company of Marketors, a Non-Executive Director for an out of hours healthcare provider and he sits on the editorial board of the Journal of Healthcare Management.
