Teaching Sustainability in Quality Improvement Improvement (SusQI)

Accelerating our progress towards net zero emissions and tackling the broader environmental impact of healthcare requires rapid scaling up and embedding of sustainable approaches within the processes that drive change, clinical innovation and improvement. Additionally, to ensure sustainability becomes ‘business as usual’ for the next generation, a requirement for students and trainees to demonstrate skills in both sustainable healthcare and quality improvement is increasingly common within curricula for healthcare professionals.
This short course aims to help you build the skills and confidence to teach the CSH ‘SusQI’ Framework and integrate it into mainstream quality improvement education programs. The course is applicable to educators of all healthcare professions at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level and was developed with the support of Health Education England, King’s College London and the Health Foundation.
