CSH partners with ISN to advance environmentally sustainable kidney care

The Centre for Sustainable Healthcare (CSH) is thrilled to announce its collaboration with the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) to initiate the Advancing Environmentally Sustainable Kidney Care (GREEN-K) Initiative.

What is the Green-K initiative?

The ‘GREEN-K’ initiative – Global Environmental Evolution in Nephrology and Kidney Care – has a vision of ‘Sustainable kidney care for a healthy planet and healthy kidneys’. Its mission is to promote and support environmentally sustainable and resilient kidney care globally through advocacy, education, and collaboration.

This initiative will be inclusive and global, focusing on collaborative action to develop a coordinated plan to achieve low carbon kidney services across our spectrum of care.

Key objectives of the partnership

By uniting their efforts, CSH and ISN will gather and distribute essential educational resources and case studies, promoting best practices in sustainable kidney care. This alliance is poised to drive significant advancements, ensuring that kidney care services worldwide become more environmentally sustainable.
