Our resources

CSH’s own resource library is filled with academic journals, case studies and impact reports of our pioneering work.

Our mission at CSH is to inspire and empower people with the knowledge, skills and tools to play their part in the transformation to sustainable healthcare. To help achieve this, we have created open-access resources that enable action, collaboration and knowledge sharing.

These resources range from specific sustainability tools and academic papers, to case studies and community networks that allow for the free and open exchange of ideas, all free and all designed to empower you to make healthcare more sustainable.

Our Sustainable Healthcare Networks Platform hosts over 30 online networks with 7000+ members from around the world. Each of these Networks are based on a clinical specialty or area of interest and are designed to facilitate discussion and the open exchange of ideas. Our community is open to everyone, including healthcare professionals, patients, managers, industry, researchers and students. You don’t need to be a member of the platform to access the resources, but joining is free and gives you lots of great extras, like being part of our digital community, taking part in events, collaboration opportunities, and much more.

Housed on the Networks Platform, the CSH Resource Library is full of free resources to build your knowledge base on sustainable healthcare. The library is user-generated, hosting academic publications, case studies, education and training materials, policy reports, tools and templates, videos, podcasts and much more – all shared by community members. As well as hosting resources directly, we welcome links to external resources hosted elsewhere.

Access our full collection of sustainable healthcare resources through the CSH resource library, such as toolkits, case studies, reports, journal articles and more, written and published by CSH’s own team of experts.

CSH partners with world renowned institutions and royal colleges on groundbreaking projects that push the boundaries of sustainable healthcare research and practice, and have significant impact on the sustainable healthcare sector. These case studies showcase that impact and provide a vital evidence base for positive change, including over 100 SusQI project reports from our Green Team Competitions

CSH working closely with ward staff to have an impact on sustainable healthcare

The SusQI approach brings together improving environmental and social sustainability with improving patient care. It can be applied in any healthcare setting and makes use of QI as a structured method for managing change, familiar to many healthcare staff. CSH is working to make sustainability a part of all QI education and practice in the UK and internationally.
