Kidney Centre Sustainability Champion Information Pack

The UK Kidney Centre Sustainability Champion role is essential to accelerate high quality, low-carbon and cost-efficient kidney care. Kidney care has significant environmental impacts as treatment can be energy and water intensive. There is huge potential to ensure environmental responsibility whilst delivering quality care – but the scheme needs you!

By becoming a Sustainability Champion for your kidney centre (main or satellite), you can lead quality improvement initiatives, develop new skills, and network and collaborate with patients and multidisciplinary teams to co-create sustainability solutions. We welcome Champions from all kidney care disciplines, from dialysis nurses to renal registrars and technicians – all are welcome to apply.

The Kidney Centre Sustainable Champions’ scheme is run by the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare in collaboration with the UK Kidney Association, funded by Medice and Fresenius Medical Care.
