Sustainability in Quality Improvement (SusQI) Academy

The Sustainability in Quality Improvement (SusQI) Academy provides training, support, and networking opportunities for embedding sustainability into QI education and practice. Organisations may enrol key staff in the Academy to access CSH expert support. Membership is suitable to those working within health professions education or in health service delivery quality improvement, service transformation, sustainability, and clinical leadership.

What is the SusQI Academy?

The Sustainability in QI (SusQI) Academy is designed for both healthcare delivery organisations and educational institutions, the Academy is tailored to your needs to achieve the following:

Integrate sustainability into existing QI teaching programmes and frameworks
Develop capability to assess environmental and social impacts of QI initiatives
Align strategy and foster connections between clinical, sustainability, and QI teams
Increase motivation to engage in Quality Improvement

What is included in the SusQI Academy?

CSH Courses: Access to CSH technical workshops (SusQI course*, Teaching SusQI, Carbon Footprinting)
Quarterly Forums: Online forums led by CSH experts. Share current learning, challenges, and network with peers.
Tailored mentoring hours: Flexible online mentoring to assess your organisational needs, define your goals and provide tailored support e.g. to review current materials and support with embedding sustainability principles into current QI teaching and practice.
SusQI Academy Network: An Academy members only online network space for resource and information sharing.
Exclusive resources: Access to members only area with exclusive SusQI resources.
Recognition as an Aspiring Beacon Site: Appear on the CSH Map, use the Beacon site logo for your material, receive a quarterly newsletter, support to share work at a national level including CSH’s annual SusQI Showcase

*Individuals who have already done the SusQI course may choose to allocate it to a colleague or choose another Centre for Sustainable Healthcare course to attend.
