We're launching the Sustainability Series!

Wednesday, 22 November, 2017

The Sustainability Series aims to inspire leadership within clinical specialties and empower you to produce practical change. To do this we are providing examples of how people succeeded in the past, a guide for how to begin, and the evidence and numbers about your field that you can present to others, with focus on a different clinical specialty each month. In celebration of the run up to our 10th birthday, our goal is to continue to help you to improve health and deliver ever increasing high quality care whilst being mindful of the resources used.

The Centre for Sustainable Healthcare brings you a different sustainable specialty each month... November: Kidney Care. December: Green Space. January: Mental Health. February: Nursing. March: Dentistry. April: Occupational Therapy.

Each month you can expect:

  • A blog providing a snapshot of the specialty, what has been done over the last decade, and what there is still to do at the beginning of the month.
  • Following that, a blog covering identified areas of change within the specialty, an overview of past case studies implementing these interventions, and an actionable guide for introducing them into your own practice.

Keep an eye out on our blog and our twitter to stay up-to-date with the latest resources! To find out why healthcare professionals care about carbon, read our first blog here.
