Welcome to Emily and Louis, our two latest members of the clinical programme team!

Wednesday, 16 November, 2016

We’re very excited to have recruited Emily Farrow, with 20 years’ experience in the NHS working as a GP and in sexual and reproductive health in London.  She also helped to establish the Kindling Trust http://kindling.org.uk and has an MSc in Public Health including research into climate policy and health.

As our Clinical Programme Deputy Director, Emily will help to expand the programme, shaping new priorities as well as taking forward successful models such as the Sustainable Specialties Scholarships into new specialties and regions.

We are equally delighted to have appointed Louis Pilard as our Clinical Programme Manager.  Louis will manage our clinical projects as well as contributing to our research and communications capabilities, combining the skills he learnt on an MSc in Environmental Policy at Oxford with his experience in managing international healthcare research projects.

Those of you who know Frances, Rebecca, Ben and Sarah, and the clinical sustainability work they do will appreciate that Emily and Louis will be adding their energies to a highly strategic as well as thoughtful and efficient team. We really look forward to working with them.

I hope that many of you will meet Emily and Louis over the coming months. If you’d like to arrange a meeting with either of them with a particular project in mind then please do contact them directly, or ask me for an introduction.
