- The British Association of Sexual and HIV Health Conference (26-28th June) features key note speakers on sustainability and a Sustainability in Quality Improvement workshop
- The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) produces clinical Green-top Guidelines (GTGs) to support their membership to deliver high quality care for women, other obstetrics and gynaecology service users and their families. They are currently involved in the Green Surgery Report, an evidence-based guide providing recommendations on how to mitigate the carbon footprint associated with surgical practices, and due to be published soon
- There are increasing examples of work to find solutions to our Entonox emissions like the work carried out in Hull last year), and projects seeking to re-introduce re-usable specula
