Gill Manning has over 35 years experience of negotiating in the pharmaceutical industry as both a Business Manager and Scientific advisor, and is a graduate in Medical Biochemistry. Gill is a highly skilled communicator and a certified trainer of the Harvard Negotiation Project.
Gill is a member of the professional council of the UK Kidney association, representing the Association of Renal Industries and has spoken at international congresses. In 2020, Gill was awarded the British Renal Society Mallick Lecture Award for lifetime services to the renal community, having pioneered and developed the concept of the role in nursing, and has been awarded a lifetime membership of the Anaemia Nurse Association. She was invited to join the early work with CSH in the Green Nephrology Projects in 2007, later becoming one of the trustees in 2010.
In addition Gill undertakes charitable work with the Johnson and Johnson Bridge to Employment programme at a school in High Wycombe, preparing teenagers to present the best versions of themselves for life after school.
