Michael Smeeth is Chief Executive Officer of Transition Hydrogen Solutions, a Canadian Hydrogen technology company. Previously, he was Portfolio Director for Sustainable Development Capital Ltd (SDCL) a leading sustainability infrastructure fund. He also ran the Global Resiliency business for INNIO and before that was Chief Commercial officer for General Electric UK and Ireland.
Jessica Rhys-Griffith is a Leadership Coach working with female Executives and Business Owners. Prior to this she was Chief Operating Office at an International Development Consultancy. She has extensive experience in leadership and management, business planning, development and implementation of strategy for operational management and development.
Duncan Mackay has recently retired as Head of urban and peri-urban environments at Natural England. He also formerly led the agency’s Natural Health Service and Walking for Health programmes. Since 2018 he has been an elected member of the Council of the National Trust and is a Fellow of the Landscape Institute and the Salzburg Global Seminar.
Mike is a clinically-retired General Practitioner in Sheffield. He is a medical educationist (formerly with HEE), a coach, the Director of Greener Practice, is involved in teaching sustainability to postgraduate GPs in Yorkshire, and works on sustainability with RCGP.
Joanna Romanowicz is the Director of Engagement at SOS-UK, a student-led education charity dedicated to sustainability. With 15 years of experience managing sustainability-focused, multi-partner programmes across Europe in the education, public, healthcare, cultural, and charity sectors, Joanna also currently serves as a leader within the charity sector. She is a Certified Environmentalist.
Dr Iris Blom is a PhD candidate at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, researching greenhouse gas mitigation in healthcare systems and its connection to adaptation in the context of climate change. She is a medical doctor from the Netherlands and holds a master’s degree in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, as a Schwarzman Scholar.
